The Eugene Ashley Center is a transitional housing program for homeless veterans. Our minister, Phil Stapp, currently serves as chaplain for the program and has a breakfast/bible study each Saturday morning. We also cook a meal for all of the staff and residents on the 4th Wednesday of every month.
The mission of Good Shepherd Center is to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and foster transition to housing. We support this work in a number of ways including serving meals to the homeless every third Saturday of the month.
Each week we conduct a bible study at Autumn Care for any residents who would like to attend. We also provide support and prayers for any of the residents or their families who request it.
On the first Sunday of each month one of our small groups provides a meal for the families of residents at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
