We allocate a portion of our giving to that purpose and Clyde is the point person to assess those needs. We also on occasion send support to national organizations like Churches of Christ Disaster Relief and Churches of Christ Disaster Response to help with recovery efforts from natural disasters.
The purpose of the Involvement Ministry is to contact members of the church and assess their talents and desires to be involved in various ministries of the church, and maintain a list of members willing to serve as a resource to other ministries. The purpose of this would not only be to provide a list of ready volunteers, but to encourage our membership to be stakeholders in the health and well being of the body of Christ.
